💡 Studio members and chapter collaborators who have editing permission can view, compare, restore and delte previous versions of a chapter.
If there are no new changes made to the chapter's files for at least 15 minutes, all the latest changes will be automatically submitted as a new version.

View Version History
To view and manage a chapter’s versions, follow these steps:
- Open the chapter Editor. Make sure you are not selecting any file or object.
- On the right-hand Editing Sidebar, locate the "Version History" section and click on the "See all" button. The “Version History” modal will appear on the screen.
- Find the version that you want to view and click on the “View” button.
Compare Versions
To compare 2 versions of a chapter, follow these steps:
- In the “Version History” modal, find a version that you want to compare and click on the “…” button.
- Choose the “Compare” option in the menu. A “Compare Version” modal will appear.
- In the “Compare Version” modal, choose the version you want to compare with. The editor will display both versions side-by-side, allowing you to compare them.
- To exit Compare mode, click on the ← button located on the left side of the Toolbar once you have finished.
Restore Versions
To restore a version, follow these steps:
- In the “Version History” modal, find a version that you want to compare and click on the “…” button.
- Choose the “Restore” option in the menu. A confirmation dialog will appear.
- Click “OK” to confirm the restoration, or “Cancel” to dismiss. Once confirmed, the restored version will become the latest version of the chapter.
Delete Versions
To restore a version, follow these steps:
- In the “Version History” modal, find a version that you want to compare and click on the “…” button.
- Choose the “Delete” option in the menu. A confirmation dialog will appear.
- Click “OK” to confirm the deletion. Once confirmed, that version will permanently deleted from the Version History log.
