Create a New Patch

To create a patch, follow these steps:

In the Studio Editor, select the "Add Patch" tool located at the top left corner of the navigation bar.
Select the area you want to cover with a patch by using either the "Object Selection" or "Lasso Selection" tool:
- Polygon Selection:
  - Click to create a polygon around the specific area that you want to cover with a patch. A preview of the selected area will appear in the right sidebar.
  - You can also switch between the (+) or (-) options to add or remove specific parts from your polygon.
  - To further fine-tune your selection, you can Expand or Contract the polygon by a specific number.
- Object Selection:
  - To select an area to cover with a patch, click and drag to create a rectangle around it. A preview of the selected area will appear in the right sidebar.
  - To remove specific parts from the selected area, switch to (-) mode and click on the unwanted parts. Each click will create a red dot. Add as many dots as needed to fine-tune the selected area.
  - To further fine-tune your selection, you can Expand or Contract the polygon by a specific number.
Finally, click "Create Patch" to complete the process.

<aside> 💡 Tip: You can now use both the Object Selection and Lasso selection simultaneously. The selections made using both tools will be merged into a single selection.

Customize a Patch

To customize a patch, follow these steps:

Choose the "Select Patch" tool located at the top left corner of the navigation bar.

When a patch is selected, you can change the background options to either Color or In-painting on the right sidebar.

Delete a Patch

To delete a Patch, follow these steps:

Choose the "Select Patch" tool located at the top left corner of the navigation bar.
Select the patch you want to delete.
Press Delete on your keyboard, or click on the "..." button in the top left corner of the right sidebar and choose “Delete”.
